Rulers obeying orders of IMF, World Bank, says Siraj

Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the price of electricity has been increased by 15 per cent and electricity has been cut off in the houses of consumers.

He said the rulers obeyed the orders of the IMF and the World Bank.

He said that the claimants to bring back the lights of Karachi further aggravated the civic problems as millions of people in the capital of Sindh did not even have access to drinking water. Rs11 billion of the development package for Karachi was limited to mere lip service.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that the people were not satisfied with the committee formed on the broadsheet scandal.
