Wearing shorts in mosques and govt institutions banned

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has banned wearing shorts in mosques and government institutions.

Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud has also approved the ban and fine on violators, which is in violation of social etiquette.

According to the details, wearing half paint in mosques and government institutions has been declared as a violation of social morality. Violators will be fined from 250 to 500 rials.

It should be noted that the plan of action against social ethics has been implemented since November 2, 2019.
