Qureshi calls for urgent steps to handle Afghanistan human crisis in meeting with UN chief

NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has called for taking urgent steps to solve the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
Qureshi made the demand during his meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the General Assembly here.
The foreign minister stressed on the need for taking urgent measures to handle the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
He also urged the international community for their continued economic and political engagement to save the country from conflicts and human crisis.
