Govt won’t be allowed to get anti-people budget passed, vows Shehbaz

LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday announced that the anti-people budget would not allowed to get passed.

The federal budget for 2021-22 is expected to be presented in the National Assembly on June 11.

Shehbaz vowed to offer resistance in getting the budget passed in the House. He described the budget as against the interests of masses.

He directed his party’s economic advisory group to hold a pre-budget seminar so that people could get aware of the facts of economy.

People are daily paying the price in the shape of inflation for fudging the figures by the government, the PML-N president said.
