PESHAWAR: Peshawar police on Saturday arrested at least 57 suspects including Afghan nationals from different areas of the provincial capital.
According to police sources, the police carried out search operations in Yakatoot area of Peshawar and arrested as many as 57 suspects. At least five of the arrested people belong to Afghanistan, who were staying in Peshawar illegally.
The police said that weapons were also recovered from some of the suspects. The police started investigation. The police said that 13 people were arrested for violating House Renting Act.
