Short term kidnapping: Sindh CM orders police to control crimes

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed police to take concrete steps to control the crime of kidnapping for ransom in the province.

He was chairing a Sindh cabinet meeting in Karachi on Monday. Briefing the cabinet, IG Sindh Police said over all law and order has improved in the province. He said there was no incident of terrorism in province this year.

He informed the meeting that two more accused involved in the Jacobabad blast have been arrested who belonged to a banned outfit. The provincial cabinet was informed that eleven incidents of bank dacoities took place in the province.
