The Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall with thunderstorm for Karachi today.
It will remain partly cloudy weather in the port city today, the weather office added.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature in the metropolis is expected to be 34 to 36 degrees Celsius, it said. The humidity ratio in the air of the city was recorded at 77 per cent while winds are blowing at a light speed from the north in Karachi.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has said that heavy rains are likely to start in Balochistan from tonight. Rains are expected in 27 districts from tonight to April 19, it adedd.
Heavy rainfall likely in Gwadar, Kech, Panjgur, Lasbela, Hub, Khuzdar and Sorab. Rains are also expected in Kalat Awaran, Kharan, Washik and Mastung, the PDMA said.
Last week, rain lashed several areas of Karachi including Maripur, Gulistan-e-Johar, Airport and Malir.
