ISLAMABAD: PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has said that they had decided to submit no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan for betterment of Pakistan.

Addressing a presser here alongside former president and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Shehbaz Sharif said the opposition had taken the decision of initiating the no-confidence motion for 220 million of Pakistan and not for ourselves.

He alleged that the PTI government had mortgaged our future generations by taking huge loans.

The PML-N president accused that the government had reinstalled the uplift projects launched by the previous government.

He said that Imran Khan criticised the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project when he was in the Opposition, but now he is taking credit for it.

Referring to the PM Imran’s address made on Sunday, Shehbaz said that the prime minister had angered the international allies of Pakistan.

Shehbaz said that the language used by the PM against the European Union was inappropriate so much so that not a single word can be repeated here.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President had said that whatever Prime Minister Imran Khan is facing now was only a result of his own doings.

Taking to Twitter, the PML-N leader said that the latest development concerning the opposition’s no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was the fate of everyone who thinks misuse of power was everlasting.

Earlier in the day, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said that no-trust motion is a demand made by masses, adding that the grand opposition is following the decision of people.

The PML-N leader said that Imran’s attitude is a sign of panic and added that abuses can’t stop the no-trust motion.

He said that Imran Niazi’s irrational talk made on container on foreign affairs is a matter of serious concern for the state.

Shehbaz said that Imran had ruined his politics and reputation. He asked the prime minister do not spoil Pakistan’s global politics and reputation.

Meanwhile, the PML-N and PPP have barred their National Assembly members from travelling abroad, asking them to ensure their presence in the capital.

The opposition parties have asked their members to remain present in Islamabad in a bid to ensure the numbers required for the success of the no-trust motion against the government.

The parties stopped the MNAs from becoming part of official delegations traveling abroad.

According to PPP Information Secretary Shahzia Atta Marri, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had directed all party MNAs to remain in the capital.

Marriyam Aurangzeb, the PML-N information secretary has said that the party members would not be part of any foreign tour being nominated by National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
