He said that the government is neither authorised to impose penalties nor to dissolve punishments as national institutions have strengthen their roots in the country.

He reiterated that ‘Karachi Operation was commenced after consultation of all political parties, whereas, major achievements were being grabbed by Pakistan military during ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb which brings full confidence of whole nation over its military troops.’

While commenting over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Pervaiz Rasheed claimed that Imran Khan wanted to flee from by-election through unnecessarily demanding resignations of members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He added that Imran Khan was feared of humiliating defeat in upcoming by-polls. He said that the PTI top head accepted election results of Haripur and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province just because of grabbing major victories by his political party. He alleged that Imran Khan wanted to make election controversial by politics of allegations.
