KARACHI: Former prime minister and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head and Jamiat e Ulema-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had a telephonic conversation.
According to sources, both the leaders discussed the current political situation. They said that Nawaz Sharif expressed satisfaction over giving the government tough time in the parliament and the unity of the opposition parties.
Both the leaders agreed to increase pressure on the government inside and outside parliament.
Nawaz Sharif assured Fazlur Rehman that whatever decision the PDM will make on the long march will be supported.
On this occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that giving the government more time would be injustice with the masses and the country.
