LAHORE: Why the Anti Narcotics Force did not seek the physical remand of PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah for further probe in the drug trafficking case, the Lahore High Court (LHC) raises a question in its detailed verdict in the case here on Thursday.

LHC’s Justice Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmad penned the detailed verdict comprising nine pages today.

The other key points raised in the detailed included that no recovery memo was prepared by the prosecution. Also the Investigation Officer in the case never made a request for the physical remand of the accused -Rana Sanaullah.

The verdict says that further probe is needed in the case as only 20 grams of the recovered heroin, which was allegedly about 15 kilograms in total, was made available for testing.
