KARACHI: Former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that they had not received 30 Form-45 from the returning officer in NA-249.
Addressing a presser alongwith Muhammad Zubair and Musaddiq Malik here on Saturday, Abbasi said that several Form-45 had not contained the total number of votes.
He claimed that the PML-N votes are more than those written by the returning officer.
If a vote difference is less than five per cent between a winner and a loser than there can a vote recount, Abbasi recalled. He was of the view there is no other solution than a vote recount.
He said that the Returning Officer, DRO and Data Officer was not ready to even listen to out complaint. The PML-N leader said that a total of 700 votes were rejected in the by-polls.
