Virat Kohli creates history again

Batting maestro Virat Kohli produced another impactful performance with the bat to make into the record books with a milestone half-century.

He smashed 77 off 49 while representing Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Punjab Kings on Monday.

This was his 100th fifty plus score over all in T20 – the most by an Indian batter and third overall. This was also his 51st half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Moreover, the 35-year-old has also scored eight centuries during his T20 career. Out of these, one century and 37 fifties have come in internationals.

Chris Gayle tops the list with 110 fifty-plus scores in the shortest format, followed by David Warner who has 109 such scores to his name.

Pakistan batter Babar Azam is fourth in the list with 98 scores of fifty or over.
