ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has termed the unity of the opposition and the no-confidence motion as a temporary bubble.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that we are not coming to hold sit-in in the federal capital. Feel the difference, there are some things that the prime minister wants to share with the nation. He will take the nation into confidence in the rally, the foreign minister said.

Qureshi said that there was no intention to intimidate the members or obstruct the communication. The PPP carried out the long march and the government did not try to create any hurdle. The long marchers will not be stopped in future also.

Qureshi said that they will fight the no-confidence motion in a political and democratic way. Opposition is claiming to complete the numbers. If the numbers are complete then why protests are being held in Islamabad. They have chaos in their ranks. They are agreed on only one agenda of removing Imran Khan.

The foreign minister said that the opposition has no future plans for what will be the setup, what will be the term of the new government and who will be the prime minister.

He further said that people have come to know their true nature, people think that this is an unholy and unnatural alliance which will not last long.

Earlier, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the establishment and the government are not separate as they both have to work together.

Defence Minister Pervez Khattak reached the anti-terrorism court to hear the verdict in the PTV Parliament attack case on Tuesday and talking to the media said that he did not know why you are seeing the government is going. I say with certainty that the government is not going anywhere, our allies are with us and will stay with us, he claimed.

To a question, Khattak said that the establishment and the government are not separate as they both have to work together. We do politics of nobility. On the question of the neutrality of the army, he said that the army has always been neutral.

He further said that meetings of political parties are held regularly, whoever has to go, resign and leave, otherwise the people of the constituency will be betrayed.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the allies are with us while the umpire is with Pakistan. A good decision will come in favour of Imran Khan, he added.
