NEW YORK: The United Nations has declared March 15 as the International Day Against Islamophobia. Earlier, a resolution was passed at the United Nations.

According to Hum News, Prime Minister Imran Khan, while congratulating the Muslim Ummah on the adoption of the resolution against Islamophobia in the United Nations, said that our voice against Islamophobia has been heard.

He said that the resolution on Islamophobia tabled by OIC was presented by Pakistan and the UN adopted the resolution of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the United Nations has finally recognized the serious challenge facing the world. He made it clear that the next challenge for the United Nations is to ensure the implementation of this historic resolution.

The prime minister said that hate speech and discrimination against Muslims must be reduced.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan has been consistently raising his voice against Islamophobia in other important places including the United Nations. He has repeatedly informed the world about the harmful effects of Islamophobia in international forums.
