KARACHI: Two alleged gangsters were killed and one injured, who was arrested, in a joint raid of Rangers and police in Lyari, in the early hours of Friday.
The raids were conducted in Baghdadi, Kalakot and Chakiwara area of Lyari, police said, adding that the two said suspects were killed in Kalakot and Chakiwara, while the injured suspect, Poon, who is affiliated with Baba Ladla group was nabbed in the Baghdadi area.
Police said a heavy cache of weapons were also recovered in the operation from the suspects.
