ABUJA: Nigerian government has banned Twitter for unspecified period in the country.
The ban has been put in place after the social networking site had deleted a tweet of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.
It maybe mentioned here that Twitter deleted the president’s tweet declaring it in violation of rules and regulations of the social site.
President Buhari had used threatening words for his enemies in the controversial tweet.
