LAHORE: Sugar and wheat thieves are controlling the country, says a PML-N spokesperson.

Speaking to the media outside the Lahore High Court on Tuesday, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that an unnamed application was submitted against PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif. No one dares to ask the PTI about the foreign funding case, she added.

She questioned that if the Nawaz Sharif’s speech and the APC hold no significance then why the legs of the PTI ministers are shaking?

The PML-N spokesperson said that during the opposition member’s meeting with Army Chief Gen Bajwa Gilgit-Baltistan had come under discussion.

Earlier in the day, the Lahore High Court had approved an extension till Sept 24 in the interim bail of PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif.

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court heard a bail application of the PML-N president in the money laundering case.

CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh and a heavy contingent of police were present on the court premises on the occasion.

On the other hand, a large number of PML-N leaders and workers were also gathered outside the court to show solidarity with their leader.
