Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s effort bear fruit as Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced support to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) instead of ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in PP-196 by-election in Multan.
PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi made telephonic conversation with JI Ameer Sirajul Haq and demanded to support PTI in PP-196 constituency. Qureshi said that Sirajul Haq assured support to PTI candidate Rana Abdul Jabbar in the upcoming polls.
It should be mentioned that JI had announced support to PML-N candidate yesterday which led Shah Mehmood Qureshi to boast contacts with Sirajul Haq.
