Polling time ends up during PK-95 by-election

Polling time has concluded and vote count has been started during ongoing by-election in PK-95 constituency of Lower Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

PK-95 by-election has been organised by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on vacated seat of Senator Sirajul Haq. The polling time was started at 8am today and continued uninterrupted till 5pm evening.

ECP established 85 polling stations in the constituency amid tight security arrangements under military troops. Major contestants were belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Awami National Party (ANP) including Aezaz-ul-Mulk and Bahadur Khan respectively while other two contestants belonging to Pakistan Raah-e-Haq Party and an independent candidate including Zia-ul-Haq and Ameer Zada.
