SARGODHA: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should give resignation morally  after the allegations leveled by the Panama Leaks and keep himself aside until a judicial commission chaired by the Supreme Court chief justice declare him innocent.

While addressing the Khatam-e-Bukhari-Sharif ceremony at Jamia Qasim-ul-Uloom, he said that Iceland Prime Minister made an example for the whole world by his resignation. He said that the rulers violate the SC verdicts so how could they expect that the rulers would comply with the retired judge’s orders.

The JI Ameer said that the corruption was a disease and a worldwide operation needed against it. He demanded to stop the corrupts from participating in the elections and added the cases should be registered against the corrupts under anti terrorism act.

Haq said that corruption was a cancer and stressed on an immediate action against it. He said that the government was responsible to provide basic facilities to the masses but people were stranded for health, education and on the other hand rulers moving to Switzerland and Panama.

The JI leader said that rulers first destroy the institution by the corruption and then buy it on cheaper prices. He refused the judicial commission announced by the Prime Minister and demanded a commission chaired by the Supreme Court Chief Justice. He said the commission should be comprised on three in-service judges to probe the issue, so as to restore the trust of masses.
