Imran Khan calls upon nation to protect freedom, democracy

Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa have arrived in Beijing on Tuesday to hold meetings with the Chinese leadership.

The prime minister was received by Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism Luo Shugang, Pakistan’s ambassador to China Naghmana Hashmi and other officials.

Khan is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Minister for Planning, Development and Reform Khusro Bakhtiar, Board of Investment (BoI) Chairman Zubair Gilani and senior officials.

During his visit, PM Imran will meet with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
On the other hand the COAS would join Prime Minister Imran Khan for a meeting with the Chinese prime minister and the president, Maj Gen Ghafoor said in a tweet.
