LAHORE: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has launched direct flights from Lahore to Skardu.
A spokesman for the national carrier said that the first flight carrying 153 passengers left Lahore for Skardu on Wednesday. PIA officials saw off the passengers at the Lahore airport, he added.
He further said that weekly two flights will operate between Lahore and Skardu.
