London: For the first time, a pet cat has tested positive for the coronavirus in the United Kingdom.

However, the veterinary experts have ruled out the possibility of corona transmission from animals.

The Chief Veterinary Officer, Christine Middle Miss said that the cat contracted the coronavirus from its owners, who have recovered from the virus.

The veterinary officer said the cat was diagnosed with coronavirus on July 22 and had mild symptoms of the virus.
