ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) condemning the Feb 8 incident said that the Lawyers’ behavior at the Islamabad High Court was uncivilised.
In a letter written to IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah, PBC Vice-Chairman Khushdil Khan said that the behavior adopted by the lawyers at the high court was uncivilised. He said that the PBC strongly condemned the Feb 8 incident.
The Council stands with the judiciary for its freedom and dispensation of justice, he added.
Khushdil Khan said that there was a need of an urgent meeting between the Chief Justice and the IHC judges in the larger interest of the bench and the bar.
