Pakistan dismisses Indian army chief Gen Bipin’s statement on Balakot

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has rejected the Indian claim that a ‘terrorist camp’ in Balakot had been “reactivated”.

On Monday, Indian army chief Gen Bipin Rawat had alleged that the camp has been “reactivated” in Balakot . He added that about 500 terrorists were “moving” towards New Delhi.

Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal on Tuesday termed the Indian general’s allegations as an attempt to divert attention of the international community from human rights violations being committed in occupied Kashmir by Indian forces .
