LONDON: Overseas Pakistanis have developed the country’s first electric car and battery, which will be unveiled in Pakistan over the next three to four months.

This prototype electric car has been developed by Pakistanis living in the US, Canada and the United Kingdom with the help of the Dice Foundation, which will soon be launched in Pakistan.

This “Made in Pakistan Electric Car” project is one of the four mega projects run by the Dice Foundation in Pakistan, which aims to showcase the expertise of Pakistanis abroad in the field of technology.

Dr. Khurshid Qureshi, the founder and chairman of Dice Foundation, has said that soon a home-made electric car will be manufactured in Pakistan with the help of Pakistani engineers and experts abroad.
