JI warns of laying siege to punjab assembly

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq has said that our governments are proud of dictation instead of embarrassment.

Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq while addressing a press conference said that economy is one of the most important sectors of human life and when there is economic stability the country can develop.

“A good economy is a symbol of peace and tranquility for human beings and our governments look to the IMF for small decisions,” he said.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that our governments are proud instead of embarrassed to take dictation from outside and a few months ago the Chairman FBR had announced that the economy had collapsed. The FBR’s statement regarding the collapse of the economy is worrying.

“We have no shortage of resources,” he said. The Federal Sharia Court has ruled on interest and it is time that we move towards Islamic economic system.

Earlier, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq had said that new beggars are with old bowl, there is no difference in the policies, priorities and action of the present and previous government. So far 23 programs have been taken from the IMF, the rulers borrow by lying people.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that the babu of IMF makes the decisions of our country sitting in the closed rooms of Washington. The IMF gave the order and our rulers obeyed, he said.

Thd Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan said that in order to improve the economy, the rulers should eliminate interest rate system, non-development expenditure and VIP culture. If the budget does not give a program to eliminate interest and inflation, Jamaat-e-Islami will bring the people to the streets the next day.

He said that at present all parties except Jamaat-e-Islami are in power somewhere, we challenge these ruling parties to come up with an agenda for improvement. The country will not develop until the Islamic system is implemented here, he said.

Siraj-ul-Haq further said that majority of the people want an Islamic system, but the agents of colonialism, feudal lords and chiefs are an obstacle in its way.

He said that the day transparent elections were held, Jamaat-e-Islami would show surprising results, he said.
