Zafar Shah, the father of fast bowlers Naseem, Hunain and Obaid Shah, was overjoyed at the victory of Islamabad United in the final of the HBL Pakistan Super League.
In the final of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9, Islamabad United defeated Multan Sultans in an exciting match and won the title.
Naseem Shah’s father Zafar Shah was overjoyed after the performance of both sons Naseem and Hunain Shah in the final and the victory of the team.
Talking after the match, the father of Shah brothers said that his children have made him and Pakistan proud. I never thought that the three sons would play cricket at the national level, he said.
He further said that he beat the three children several times for playing cricket.
He said that Naseem Shah did not teach cricket to Hunain and Obaid as the both learned cricket themselves. The three sons used to play cricket secretly. I wish that now Hunain and Obaid also play for Pakistan, he added.
