ISLAMABAD: Nomination papers for election of the National Assembly speakership will be filed today on Sunday, while election would be held tomorrow.
According to the schedule of the elections, nomination papers can be filed by twelve noon, which would be followed by their scrutiny.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is nominee of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is fielding Shafqat Mahmood as candidate for the election of the speaker.
