KARACHI: Several major roads have been closed for vehicular traffic in the city ahead of the planned rally of the Millat-e-Jafria Pakistan here on Sunday.
The rally will be taken out from the Karachi Press Club at 3pm and terminate at the US Consulate.
According the traffic plan issued by the Karachi Traffic Police, all the roads leading to the Red Zone have been closed.
It added that Mai Kolachi Road, Moulvi Tameezuddin Khan Road, Dr Ziauddin Road, Aiwan-e-Saddar Road, and Khajoor Chowk are closed.
On Saturday, Millat-e-Jafria Pakistan had announced to hold an anti-American rally to protest assassination of IRGC Quds Force commander General Qassem Soleimani and Hashed al-Shaabi deputy chief Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in a US attack in Bagdad.
