Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has staged a sit-in headed by Tahirul Qadri at Mall road Lahore over Model Town incident which left 14 people killed about two years ago.
AS per details, the family members of the deceased are also taking part in the sit-in staged under flag of PAT. All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has also announced to support the protest.
Two stages are built for the protest, one for the leaders and other one for the family members of those who lost their love once.
PAT Chief Tahirul Qadri said the sit-in will be peaceful and everyone in the surrounding will be allowed to continue their businesses.
Strict security measures are taken for the sit-in while heavy contingents of Punjab Police deployed at Punjab Assembly.
It is pertinent to mention here, at least 14 people lost their lives while over 100 injured during clashes between PAT workers and Police at Model Town Lahore on June 17, 2014.
