SRINAGAR, Occupied Kashmir: All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Geelani has forcibly been buried at an unidentified location by the Indian forces.
This was disclosed by the late Kashmiri leader’s special representative Abdullah Geelani.
He said that they were unaware of the location where the APHC leader had been buried by the Indian forces last night. Indian forces forcibly took the body into their custody and buried at an unidentified place, he said.
Abdullah claimed that the Indian forces also subjected the family members of Geelani to torture.
The family of late APHC leader has demanded of the Indian government to allow his burial at the Mazar-e-Shuhada.
Meanwhile, some media reports suggest that Geelani was buried at Haiderpora graveyard by the Indian forces. Only close relatives and neighbours were allowed to attend the burial of Syed Ali Geelani, they added.
Indian forces had closed the entire Jammu and Kashmir after enforcing a curfew. Mobile service has also been suspended in the valley.
