India using cluster bombs to target civilians along LoC in Azad Kashmir: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Indian army has used cluster ammunition with the view to target civilian population residing along the Line of Control in Azad Kashmir.

Pakistan military’s media wing in a statement said on Saturday that the enemy forces on the night between July 30/July 31 targeted innocent citizens including women and children in Neelum Valley through artillery using cluster ammunition. As a result, two civilians, a four-year-old boy among them, were martyred and 11 others injured.

The statement added:” This is a violation of Geneva Convention and international humanitarian law.”
