India to offer visas to Pakistan team for T20 World Cup

NEW DELHI: Pakistan cricket team now can fly to India to participate in the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in October.

According to the Indian media, Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary, has informed the Apex Council that the government had decided to grant visas to Pakistani players for the coming T20 Word Cup.

However, it is still unclear whether the Pakistani fans can travel across the border to watch the mega event matches.

The BCCI secretary said that it would be decided in due course of time.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has finalised nine venues for the T20 matches including Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, New Delhi,  Chennai and Ahmedabad.
