Ihsanullah undergoes elbow injury examination in UK

Pakistani fast bowler Ihsanullah had an appointment with a specialist orthopedic in the UK and he also got his elbow pain checked.

Ihsanullah had arrived in England for the diagnosis of elbow pain where he had an appointment with orthopedic surgeon Professor Adam Watts.

Surgeon Professor Adam Watts specializes in hand and wrist surgery, shoulder and elbow procedures, sports injuries and trauma surgery. The orthopedic doctor performed a thorough examination of Ihsanullah’s injuries.

The British doctor will submit his comprehensive report in the next day or two. Ihsanullah may have to undergo surgery again.

Currently, Ihsanullah could not fully recover from his elbow injury despite undergoing surgery and is suffering from pain despite rehab.

Earlier, Pakistan fast bowler Ihsanullah had traveled to England for treatment.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi took notice of the mishandling of Ihsanullah’s injury by the Pakistan Cricket Board officials.

The lanky pacer burst onto the scene with impressive performance in the Pakistan Super League. However, his unfortunate elbow injury during the New Zealand series shelved him completely.

He missed key events like Asia Cup, World Cup and most recently the PSL season nine.

Ihsanullah’s case was first incorrect diagnosed followed by a failed surgery in Lahore, which prolonged his recovery.
