Karachi: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that Hajj will be expensive due to the coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Talking to media at Karachi Haji Camp on Sunday, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that they want early elections to get a majority in the Senate and today inflation is due to looting in the past.

He said that the upcoming Hajj under coronavirus SOPs would be expensive and vaccines would be given priority to pilgrims, but that Saudi Arabia still has some time to formulate a Hajj policy.

Saudi Arabia announced a limited Hajj in last June in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
