Govt ready to hold census in March next year: Attorney General

ISLAMABAD: Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Ashter Ausaf Ali has said that the federal government was ready to hold census from March 15, 2017.

In a media talk here on Monday, the attorney general said that consultation process with the provinces has been completed to hold the census.

He said that the census will complete in two months on May 15, 2017.

The attorney general said that a summary in this connection has been forwarded to the Council of Common Interests for approval.
