The provincial government has decided to appoint Ghulam Nabi Memon as Inspector General of Sindh Police.
In this connection, the PPP leadership has given a green signal.
A notification to this affect will be issued soon.
Ghulam Nabi Memon, a Grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, has already worked as Inspector General of Police as well as Additional IG Karachi.
The officer has also served as Additional IG Special Branch.
Currently, Ghulam Nabi Memon serving as Executive Director, State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC), under Commerce Division, on deputation basis.
