LAHORE: Four more condemned prisoners have been executed in jails of various cities of Punjab including Lahore and Sahiwal early this morning.
Two convicted prisoners were sent to gallows at Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail. Convict Rizwan had murdered seth Abid’s son in 2006 while Muazzam Iqbal killed a man in 1995.
A convicted criminal on death row, Zahid in Sahiwal also has been executed at the central jail. Zahid killed a policeman, Fida Hussain in 2001.
Furthermore, Bahawalpur Jail had convict Nazeer Ahmed hanged to death. Ahmed killed a citizen named Mushtaq over a property dispute.
