KARACHI: Jamiat-e-Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman on Saturday again contacted Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar urging him and his party to rethink over their rigid stance on resignations issue.

Fazl who acted as a mediator between government and MQM after MQM lawmakers resigned en masse from both the houses of parliament and Sindh Assembly on August 12 asked Sattar to review his position.

Earlier Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar contacted Fazl and discussed the issue with him after MQM press release which said that MQM’s decision regarding the resignation issue is final citing the reason that PM Nawaz’s behaviour was “arrogant and threatening” during the PM’s Karachi visit.
