PESHAWAR: At least three people including father and son were killed in firing of armed men on an auto-rickshaw here on Saturday.
Police said that armed men ambushed an auto-rickshaw in Mithra area of the provincial capital Peshawar while they were on their way to appear in the local court. As a result of firing three people including father, son and driver of the rickshaw were killed on the spot.
The assailants fled from the scene after committing the triple murder. The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and the police after registering a case against the attackers started efforts for their arrest.
