LAHORE: Last night a brother of Punjab MPA was gunned down not only in presence of hundreds of people but the top executive authority of the province and his security.

As usual after the incident, blame game is going for the incident. One can guage the  prevailing security situation in Punjab for an ordinary citizen when an MPA’s brother is gunned down in presence of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

The killing of MPA’s brother has fully exposed the tall claims of law and order of the PTI-led government in the province. The question arises that how the killer made his access to the wedding event, breaking Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s security protocol.

On Thursday, in an another incident of violation of law and order an Hindu temple had allegedly come under attack some 60 kilometres away from Rahim Yar Khan.

Meanwhile, special branch, police and CM office were blaming each other for the incident as none of them were ready to take responsibility for the security lapse at the event.

Sardar Mavarhan Khan, the SSP Security Lahore said that they were informed only 30 minutes before the ceremony about the participation of CM Buzdar.

A DSP, two SHOs and about 40 policemen were deployed for the security of CM and other VIPs at the wedding ceremony as Buzdar had arrived on a private visit there, he further said.
