LONDON: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has vowed not to leave Syria until clearing all the terrorist outfits operating in Damascus.

Erdogan made this statement after the Nato leader’s summit being held here in London.

Meanwhile, addressing a gathering of the Turkish community living in London, the president strongly criticised the stand of various countries and their officials on Turkey’s anti-terror operations.

He said that Ankara was an independent country and it does not require to take a permission from other countries before launching any operation for the security of its territorial borders.
