Emergency declared in Balochistan after coronavirus claims 28 lives in Iran

QUETTA: Following reports of deaths caused by coronavirus in Iran, Pakistan has declared emergency in the Balochistan areas bordering Tehran.

According to reports, 28 people had died due to the coronavirus in Iran.

Medical staff and  equipment have been sent to Taftan, which is used by hundreds of people daily.

Earlier, schools, colleges, universities and cultural points had been ordered to close after the spread of the deadly virus in Iran.
