Eid-ul-Fitr prayers performed in Makkah

MAKKAH: As Muslim across Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, the prayers were performed in Makah.

Shah Slaman bin Abdul Aziz also performed Eid prayers in Khana-e-Kaba along with thousands of Muslims.

Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court had announced Friday as the first day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday after sighting a new moon.

For Muslims, the Eid al-Fitr celebration begins after the fasting month of Ramadan ends.

Muslims in the UK, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE and other countries will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with great zeal and fervor on Friday.
