ANP leader Mian Iftikhar arrested in PTI activist murder case

NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mian Iftikhar has been arrested by police in connection of a killing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist.

A activist of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was killed in Sunday’s wee hours.

Mian Iftekhar appeared in magistrate court on today’s (morning) over the allegations of the PTI worker killing.

A PTI man, Khan Sher lodged an FIR of murder and attempted murder against the Awami National Party’s leader. According to Sher Khan, the ANP leader ordered his guards to open fire at a PTI rally when it was passing past his residence.

Following the FIR was lodged at Pabbi police station, police raided Mian Iftikhar’s residence and arrested him.

The ANP chief  Asfandyar Wali has strongly condemned the allegation leveled against Mian Iftekhar for killing of PTI worker.

Receiving the report of his arrest, ANP workers and leaders reached the police station in large number.
