JAKARTA: A 6.9 magnitude earthquake jolted Indonesia on Monday.
According to the US Geological Survey, The epicenter of the quake was around 330 km (205 miles) north-northwest of Indonesia’s Molucca islands and its depth was 102 Kilometer.
The NOOA Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that, based on available information, “a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected”. No damage or causalities were reported so far.
