ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was transferred to Abpara police station after his arrest.

Speaking on this occasion, Sheikh Rasheed said that these people broke the doors and entered the house and beat my children, abused and oppressed me.

Sheikh Rasheed said that two hundred armed people entered my house and tortured my employees, searched my house. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed further said that these people entered the house by installing stairs, broke the doors of the house and misbehaved.

Sheikh Rasheed said that I was forcibly brought here in the car.

He said that the SHO of Abpara police station has been appointed by PML-N and Rana Sanaullah is doing all this work.

Earlier, Awami Muslim League chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed was arrested by Pindi police from the motorway and transferred to Abpara police station in Islamabad, a local TV reported.

Later, Sheikh Rasheed was transferred by the police from Abpara police station of Islamabad to Polyclinic Hospital for medical treatment.

Police officials claim that Sheikh Rasheed was intoxicated, expensive brand of liquor was recovered from Sheikh Rasheed’s possession.

According to the police, M4 rifle, Kalashnikov and automatic gun have also been recovered from the possession of Sheikh Rasheed.

The police say that a case has been registered against Sheikh Rasheed in Abpara police station.

According to the FIR, Sheikh Rasheed has alleged that Asif Zardari has hired terrorists to kill Imran Khan, the aim of which is to defame Asif Zardari.

According to sources, a case was registered against Sheikh Rasheed in Abpara police station on the request of PP Rawalpindi Division President Raja Inayatur Rehman.
