PTI govt ended due to anger of establishment, admits Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that matters have been settled with the allies of the government while seven of the 12 dissident members have returned.

Talking to Hum News, he said that 99 per cent issues have been settled with the ruling coalition PML-Q and MQM-P.

He said that 7 of the defectors have returned to the assembly while talks are underway with 5 of them.

Replying to a question, Fawad Chaudhry said that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is still there. All members of Punjab Assembly are candidates for the post of Chief Minister but we will see.

He said that the aim of the opposition is only to bring down Imran Khan, what will they do after the fall.

Fawad Chaudhry said that at present our focus is only on the March 27 meeting. The election year will start after the budget. The thinking of the opposition is on personalities, Pakistan has now changed, he added.

“I have come to vote in the name of PTI. If I say I disagree with Imran Khan, I should resign,” he said.

He said that if there was any disagreement, he should resign and go back to the people.

The Information Minister said that the army and PTI are a bead in a rosary, a special campaign is being launched to make a difference between us, we have to provide protection to the army and army chief in any case.
